Policies

No one likes rules, but we all need them. Please read through our policies.

  • Our studio rate includes an engineer, and a very good one at that. We don’t generally rent out the studio to other engineers/producers.
  • Our studio rate also includes the use of our large collection of quality instrumentation if desired. Take a good look around during your studio tour/consultation and please let us know what you would like to use prior to your session if at all possible. We do request that drummers supply their own breakables.
  • You must reserve a minimum of 3 hours of studio time in order to schedule a session. If you do not require this much time for your project, special arrangements can be made.
  • A $100 deposit per day is required a minimum of two weeks in advance for all studio sessions booked. Once your deposit is received, your requested session time will be confirmed.
  • We have been known to offer payment plans for larger projects, so don’t be afraid to ask.
  • Payments can be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card through PayPal (incurs a 3.5% fee to cover PayPal service charges).
  • Deposits will be refunded if a session is canceled 48 hours prior to the session. Any cancellations within 48 hours of a session will not be refunded; we do reserve the right to be kind and allow you to re-book your session if there are extenuating circumstances.
  • No finished tracks will be given to clients until payment is received in full.
  • Although we do give you a CD with the final masters, including quality MP’3 versions, it is recommended that you bring your own hard drive if you wish to receive your session files upon completion of a project. Session files will be deleted from our system 60 days after a project is finished unless prior arrangements are made for future work.
  • A receipt can be issued upon request.
  • There is no smoking (of any kind) in the studio.
  • One may imbibe during recording, but one may not do so to excess.
  • Guests of band members may come and enjoy the recording process, but may not be disruptive or negative.
  • Engineers are people too, and may take brief breaks for restroom use and food consumption.
  • We respect our clients’ privacy and the time they spend with us in the studio. Please contact us to set up a tour, to schedule a session, or for any technical questions. Also, please give us 24 hours to respond to any communications as we do not check emails or phone messages while working with a client.
