Cedar Street Presents Second Sundays at the North Star Bar

Cedar Street has partnered with Andrew Miller from Sunny Day Entertainment to bring you Second Sundays at the North Star Bar! On the second Sunday of every month, we will be showcasing some amazing artists. The lineup for our very first Second Sunday show on July 11th will feature The Mechanicals, Skinny Legs, Everyone Everywhere and Paper Lanterns. In fact, it will be Paper Lantern’s EP release party, and everyone who attends will get to take one home with them! So mark your calendars now, and we’ll see you there!

Jessica and I would love to thank everyone for their continued support for Daniel and his new project TivaTiva. And special thanks to DJ Lucas Rivera for spinning, Daniel’s parents for the amazing food, Brett Keller and Mat Eisland for lighting and sound, Kevin McDevitt for playing percussion with Daniel, and Chris Johnson who opened for Daniel. The night was very successful thanks to everyone that attended! We will have audio and video available shortly.

The mood in the studio is very enthusiastic as we are gearing up for the upcoming Daniel de Jesus/TivaTiva Fundraiser March 20th, starting at 5pm. It is $10.00 at the door ($5.00 for kids under the age of 12) and is located at the Atlas Building. We are all very excited for the event and cannot wait to see you all there!

Daniel de Jesús/TivaTiva Concert and Exhibition

Come celebrate Daniel de Jesús’ new band name TivaTiva and album The Mask. There will be catered food from Cafe Vivaldi, drinks, an art exhibition of Daniel’s new collection of paintings entitled The Crying Sirens, a silent auction, a performance by Chris Johnson from Lost In Company, and live music from Daniel’s new album. There will be a $10.00 charge ($5 for kids 12 and under) at the door. All funds that are collected throughout the night will go towards supporting the release of The Mask.

We are very grateful for any help and support you may be able to give and look forward to seeing you there!

"The Monster" Darren Keith

Darren Keith was in the studio again yesterday, this time laying down tracks for Hale Allen. It’s official; Darren is now known in these parts as “the Monster”. His playing is nothing if not totally impressive.

Later this week Ted will be working with ex Vultures frontman and driving force Ruben Barsky, producing his debut solo EP. Reuben has some great songs and he and Ted are coming up with some amazing sounds; I can’t wait to hear the end result of this collaboration.

Also in the studio this week, Chris Johnson of Lost In Company will be laying down vocal tracks for their forthcoming EP. What a week!
